Private 1:1 In Person/Remote Sessions

"Having spoken to numerous trainers, dog walkers, vets and other ‘experts’ in the dog world, Karolina was the only one who seemed to really understand the issues we were having. She picked up on things others had not, which resulted in a huge behaviour change in our dog. Karolina has a calm and measured approach and she is very easy to work with. I would definitely recommend her!"

1:1 Dog Behaviour Training

Having a dog that barks, snaps or bites is scary and embarrassing. You imagined an easy going life, but instead your dog drags you on lead, lunges at dogs, and doesn't listen. Maybe your dog is too afraid to even leave the house. I specialise in helping dogs and their humans overcome and prevent behaviour challenges such as aggression,  anxiety, resource guarding, and reactivity. My approach focuses on understanding your dog’s needs, building trust, and creating long lasting change. I also support families with everyday skills like calm lead walking, reliable recall, and settling into home life, all through kind, science based methods that strengthen your bond and don't compromise welfare.

Hi, I’m Karolina!  I'm a Level 6 Qualified Canine Behaviour Consultant via the ISCP, and I LOVE helping dogs feel safe and understood, and helping their guardians love life together.

My journey began with my own sensitive dog, who showed me just how emotionally complex dogs are and sparked my commitment to compassionate, evidence based behaviour support and training. Since then, I’ve dedicated myself to understanding the why behind behaviour and helping dogs and their humans thrive together.

I'm very passionate about rescue dogs, and I’ve volunteered in Romania supporting street dogs, public shelters, and spay/neuter campaigns. I adopted my first ex-street dog from Spain who was my absolute world, and I'm now a proud dog mum to two Romanian Rescues.  I’m currently a Canine Behaviour Advisor for rescues working to improve welfare and education in Romania.

After spending five years at Battersea Dogs & Cats Home, assessing dogs for rehoming and creating tailored training plans, I decided to take a leap of faith and start working for myself - my hope is that with the right, accessible support, we will see less dogs findings themselves in rescues for  behaviour related reasons. I am a supporting member of The Pet Professional Guild and ICAN, and I follow the UK Dog Behaviour & Training Charter’s code of conduct and ethics; I never compromise welfare for training goals.

Real Feedback From Real Guardians

"Karolina has been working with my puppy and I for a month now and the differences are really showing. Her patient and consistent training advice and tips are invaluable and she is so enthusiastic and dedicated to her job. I can ask for help or advice any time and she is here for me and my puppy. I can 110% recommend Karolina, my puppy is a rescue and is anxious and reactive but Karolina knows exactly what to do"

- Amy & Titch

"Karolina is the best trainer we've had. I have a nervous Romanian rescue who at times has even struggled to leave the home, and Karolina's guidance has been invaluable in building up his confidence. He's nervous of new people but took to her immediately, and she has an incredible understanding of dog behaviour and body language. Her detailed follow-up documents go above and beyond and she's so supportive of me as a human, which is something I've not always experienced with other trainers. Cannot recommend Karolina enough!"

- Sara & Buddy

"Karolina was incredible. We had a two hour consultation where she went through our dog’s history in great detail, helping us understand his behaviour. Most importantly she recommended we see a pain specialist as she noticed behaviour that indicated he might be in pain. She was bang on the money and it turns out our happy, excitable dog has actually been experiencing sciatica pain! We’re now able to get him the treatment he needs which means we’re all much happier."

- Jemma & Winston

"Karolina has been a fabulous force of confidence for us whilst supporting our incredibly nervous rescue dog. Her techniques are kind and have enabled us to start to build a solid base. She is always available with endless patience and guidance to help us. We would not be where we are now without her help and would recommend her for people wanting a gentle and calm approach to their training."

- Laura & Bobbie

"Karolina has been amazing in helping me and my dog! I went to her to help me with some recall, distraction and anxiety issues. Karolina has such a calm and kind approach and her training technique is all about positive reinforcement and making the training fun and exciting for your dog. Building a stronger bond with your dog so they look to you for guidance. I will definitely be booking more sessions as I practice the techniques she has shown me. Already I have noticed such a difference on my dog walks, as Gamba's engagement with me has increased so much. I would reccomended her to anyone."

- Dylan & Gamba

"We have now sought Karolina’s support with 3 of our dogs and find her to be amazing! She listens and observes carefully, is so knowledgeable and kind and she provides comprehensive, practical advice which is easy to understand and follow. Everything is explained thoroughly and/or demonstrated and Karolina follows up regularly re: progress made. Nothing is too much trouble or question too small.
We wholeheartedly recommend Karolina!"

- Linda & Gary

"I will recommend Karolina to absolutely anyone that needs help with a dog. She is so extremely knowledgeable, patient and caring. I’m so happy I found her. She gave us such detailed report after her visit with tips and tricks to help us with our rescue dog, plus she’s always available for any help needed afterwards. I couldn’t wish for a better trainer."

- Laura & Summer

"Karolina has been such a help with our two rescue dogs, including one who is an extremely fearful ex-street dog. Her expertise in dog behaviour, especially with foreign rescues, has been invaluable. She is kind and helpful and provides thorough behaviour reports and practical guidance. We really appreciate having her there to help with new challenges that arise. We couldn’t recommend her more highly for anyone looking for a compassionate and knowledgeable dog behaviourist and trainer."

- Tanya & Nellie

"Karolina's consultation and training plan was extremely useful and using the techniques made an immediate difference to our dogs experience when out on a walk. It was reassuring to see that Karolina understood the differences between breeds and recognised traits specific to sighthounds. Karolina provided a detailed report after the consultation that we frequently refer back to. We now look forward to going out with our dog. "

- Annette & Sonny

Still unsure?

"I've previously worked with a trainer and didn't see results"

As a qualified Behaviour Consultant, I go beyond training. Most trainers address the symptoms, whereas I focus on the root cause of the behaviour. We address everything from physical comfort to emotional state and daily routine, while breaking formal training down into short 3-5 minute sessions 1-2x a day.

"Can remote training really work?"

Absolutely! Remote training has become incredibly popular - as I work primarily with anxious, stranger reactive and fear based behaviours, in person sessions are usually spent making the dog familiar with me before we can start training; and that's not the best use of our time. This way, you can start the training straight away and make the most out of our sessions.

“How do I know if you’re the right person to help?”

Choosing support for your dog is an important decision, and it’s completely okay to explore your options. I focus on understanding why behaviour is happening and creating personalised, ethical training plans that support both you and your dog. I’ll always arrange a call or chat with you on WhatsApp first so we can discuss your situation before you commit to anything.

"My dog's behaviour is too severe to be helped"

I've been where you are. My own dog showed severe behavioural issues and it felt like nothing could be done. But with a holistic approach and addressing the root cause, it means we get to the bottom of what is happening. If this is a genuine concern, reach out via email and tell me a little about your dog. If I think I'm not the right professional, I will happily give you a referral to a Veterinary Behaviourist.

Frequently Asked Questions

More details and what you need to know before joining

What happens after the first consultation and Phase 1 plan? My support generally follows a three phase process, designed to match how behaviour change actually happens. Phase 1: Decompression and management This first phase focuses on reducing pressure and preventing behaviours from escalating. We look at management, decompression, and any underlying factors that may be influencing your dog’s behaviour. This often brings a sense of relief and stability, but it’s only the starting point. After your first plan is in place, we schedule a follow-up session four weeks later. Throughout this time, we stay in touch so you’re not left trying to figure things out on your own. Phase 2: Skill building In our second session, we introduce skills and exercises tailored to your dog’s specific needs. You’ll be given clear steps and tutorials, and you’ll practise these over the following four weeks with ongoing support. Phase 3: Increasing the challenge It's been 4 weeks since Phase 2 started. We have another 1:1 session; here we gradually increase the difficulty and real-world relevance of the training, helping your dog apply their new skills more confidently and consistently. We finish off with a final review session after another 4 weeks. This means a minimum of 4 x 1:1 sessions throughout the 3 month period. What happens after that? At this point, it really depends on you and your dog. If you feel confident continuing independently, you’re welcome to stay inside the hub for ongoing access to resources and workshops. If you’d like support with additional goals or feel you’d benefit from continued guidance, we can continue working together through ongoing 1:1 support. There’s no pressure either way, the aim is to give you the level of support that feels right for where you and your dog are.

What's included in the online hub? The hub is an ever-growing platform with access to self paced 'courses' and modules dedicated to specific training sections, including: Core Life Skills, Breed Specific Outlets, Calm Lead Walking, Recall, Stress Free Handling, Reactivity, Home Barking Problems, International/Street Rescue Dogs, Scent Work, Confidence Building & Tricks. Coming Soon: 28 Day Engagement Challenge, Wildlife Chasing, Body Awareness, Resource Guarding and Puppy Foundations. I also host live/pre-recorded Workshops and Q+As with other specialists. You can also connect with other members who are in the same boat as you!

What if my dog doesn't have a behaviour problem, I just want some basic training? If there is truly nothing else going on, you're welcome to check out the hub as a standalone tool; you can use the sections in the order you need them e.g. Recall or Calm Lead Walking and supplement with additional sections to give your dog the best life you can. Quick note: I often see dogs who pull on the lead not for lack of training, but because there is an underlying issue like anxiety, fear, stress, frustration or even pain! If you give the training a go and feel stuck or that it isn't working, we can discuss working together to assess what's happening.

How does remote coaching work? Exactly the same way as in person coaching, except we meet via video call instead of face to face. This includes the same detailed level of analysis and feedback; it's slightly cheaper as I do not need to account for extra time traveling to and from, as well as fuel and car associated costs! I recommend remote coaching for any guardian's whose dogs show stranger/human related reactivity, as it is far less stress on the dog and we don't need to waste time getting the dog used to me - unless I'll be popping over for dinner regularly!

How does the WhatsApp support work? You have my business WhatsApp number and can contact me anytime to ask questions, send videos for feedback (either any training you do that you capture, or a video of your dog showing a behaviour that you're not sure how to address), or just share your progress/wins (these are my favourite messages!). Messages are responded to between 09:00 - 18:00 GMT weekdays. Weekend responses are limited. If you have an urgent/safety question or issue, please start your message with URGENT: and I will bump it to the top of the queue and answer as soon as I am available. I cannot stress this enough: PLEASE make FULL use of this and contact me as often as you can. The clients who see the best results are those who keep me updated and let me know what's happening so that I can give them immediate advice instead of waiting 4 weeks until the next 1:1.

Ready to invest in your relationship?

"I highly recommend Karolina if you need behavioural help with your dog. She is brilliant at what she does and has helped so much with our dog. We have a dog with reactivity challenges and she has helped us understand what’s happening with the behaviours and why and to implement a plan to work on improving his emotions around triggers. She is kind, compassionate and ethical and would recommend her to anyone who is needing behavioural help with their dog."
